Frequently asked questions

Does jd.Edit change my original files?

Never. Every edit runs non-destructively on a working copy, with unlimited undo. Only the export creates a new file — and asks before overwriting anything.

How does the Pro trial quota work?

Every Pro feature can be used five times for free — the quota counts per feature. After that the purchase sheet appears; the free tier remains fully usable forever.

My purchase doesn't show up — what now?

Tap Settings → “Restore purchases”. The purchase is tied to your Apple account and can be restored on any of your devices.

Wi-Fi transfer can't find the server.

iPhone and computer must be on the same network. Hotel and guest networks often isolate devices — switch to “Hotspot” at the top of the app and connect the computer directly to the iPhone's Personal Hotspot.
